Join us as we discover the wonderful world of birds! Budding scientists learn about birds from a life cycle perspective and get to know our local feathered friends.

|Bird-ology (Grades 4-8)
Each year, billions of birds move between their wintering grounds and their breeding habitats. Students learn about local migrants, nesting birds and the healthy habitats they depend on.

|Bird Studies for Conservation (Grades 9-12)
Birds are important indicators of changes in our environment. This program highlights the latest reports on the state of birds in Canada and beyond our borders. Students observe bird banding for migration monitoring and participate in Citizen Science programs.

Field Trip Program Fees are $8/student for half day (morning) and $10/student for full days, with a class size cap of 30 students.
