It’s that time of year when summer plans are being made. If you’re a teenager looking for ornithological adventure (or you know one), there are a number of amazing opportunities that you may want to look into being offered by Canadian Migration Monitoring Network bird observatories and other organizations across the country. These workshops serve as a jumping-off point for many of Canada’s best and brightest scientists, field biologists, and naturalists.
Beaverhill Bird Observatory’s Geoff Holroyd Young Ornithologists’ Workshop will be offered August 4-10 just outside Edmonton, Alberta.
Long Point Bird Observatory’s Doug Tarry Young Ornithologists’ Workshop will be offered August 3-11, at Long Point, Ontario.
The Ontario Field Ornithologists’ Alan Wormington Young Birder Camp August 17-24 in Algonquin Park, Ontario.
And Observatoire d’oiseaux de Tadoussac and Regroupement Québec Oiseaux Ornithology Camp will be offered August 11-16, at Tadoussac, Québec.
