Join Birds Canada on a guided walk around the wetlands of Hyde Park in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan! This walk is the field component of the MarshWatch webinar series, but all are welcome. Timing: Saturday, June 15th 8am – 12pm (find us on the trail if you arrive later!) – rain or shine unless severe weather looms.

Location: Hyde Park & Trounce Pond
Walk plans: Meet near at the parking lot on Slimmon road, just east of the intersection with Boychuk. We will head south and circle the west-most pond in Hyde Park, then we will check out the birds on Trounce Pond, north of the parking lot.
Accessibility and location information: Trails are well established, a mix of packed gravel and pavement. No public washrooms, but there may be washrooms at nearby businesses.
Suggested items to bring: Binoculars, sturdy footwear, sun & bug protection, water/snacks.
We will bring: extra binoculars, a spotting scope, field guides, and enthusiasm!
