Regina Marsh Walk

Join Birds Canada on a guided walk around the wetlands of the McKell Wascana Conservation Park in Regina, Saskatchewan! This walk is the field component of the MarshWatch webinar series, but all are welcome. If you want to learn more about the birds and amphibians in Prairie Canada, all the webinars can be viewed on the program page here.

Timing: Sunday, June 9th 9am – 12pm (find us on the trail if you arrive later!) – rain or shine unless severe weather looms.

Cost: Free!

Location: McKell Wascana Conservation Park, trail head on Wascana Circle.

Walk plans: Meet at the concrete pad at the trail head. We will head south across the foot bridge and explore the wetlands along the creek.

Accessibility and location information: Street parking along Wascana Circle. Gravel trails. No washrooms nearby.

Suggested items to bring: Binoculars, sturdy footwear, sun & bug protection, water/snacks.

We will bring: extra binoculars, a spotting scope, field guides, and enthusiasm!
