Grand Erie Master Gardeners in collaboration with Birds Canada, is excited to announce our 2nd workshop of this summer. Shifting to the lakeside town of Port Rowan, we’ll begin with a morning presentation in the beautiful Events Room at Birds Canada National Headquarters on gardening with native plants that thrive in full sun.
The afternoon session will consist of a hands-on demonstration as we install the first phase of a pollinator and bird-friendly garden at Birds Canada featuring a diversity of garden-worthy native prairie plants, all perfectly adapted to sun-drenched gardens. The day will conclude with an interpretive tour of some diverse native wildflower gardens at a nearby private home.
Lunch will be provided – please specify dietary restrictions in the registration form!
