I’ve always been fascinated by wildlife, particularly in the North. Originally from France, I moved to New Brunswick, Canada, in 2018 to pursue a MSc in seasonal trophic interaction modeling across the Arctic biome. Since 2019, I’ve been fortunate to both participate in and lead Arctic ecosystem monitoring fieldwork programs in eastern and western Nunavut, with a focus on shorebirds and lemmings monitoring. I previously worked with Birds Canada on Piping Plover and Bicknell Thrush monitoring programs in the Atlantic. I am now very excited to continue working on Northern habitat conservation and to contribute to the development of Indigenous-led conservation initiatives with the Science in the North project. I will be able to provide scientific support for conservation planning, spatial data mapping, and bird monitoring training.
