A lifelong birder and passionate conservationist, I bring a global perspective to the Birds Canada local-to-hemispheric conservation science program. I’m something of a long-distance migrant – originally from the UK, I arrived in Canada via a decade in Asia. I’m now a Metro Vancouver homeowner and permanent resident, although currently based remotely in East Africa for much of the year. Prior to my current role, I served as the Senior Director of Conservation Strategy for Birds Canada.
