Marsh Wren photo by Gilles Bisson
Join MarshWatch host LeeAnn Latremouille as we look for wetland birds at the Habitat Conservation Area in Wascana Park in Regina!
This is a drop-in event from 8:00am to 11:00am, meeting at the gates of the Habitat Conservation Area south of Douglas Park and walking the loop. There is a small parking lot near the gate on McDonald St. as well as a larger parking lot along the west side of Douglas Park (see map for details).
We will have two spotting scopes, field guides, and a few extra binoculars – we should be easy to spot if you are joining after 8!
What to bring: binoculars if you have them, and long pants and closed-toe shoes – there will likely be mosquitos.
All are welcome!
