Getting a handle on how to plant a garden in full sun. Hosted at Birds Canada National Headquarters and in the rapidly expanding native plant gardens at a private home in the lakeside town of Port Rowan.
Grand Erie Master Gardeners, once again in collaboration with Birds Canada, is excited to announce our 3rd and final workshop of summer, 2024. We will start the day with two presentations in the beautiful Events Room at Bird’s Canada’s National Headquarters in Port Rowan.
Explore the fascinating bird life in Richmond and learn how to use binoculars to identify common backyard birds. Led by expert birders from Birds Canada.
Learn about the species of owls that call BC home with a 30-minute presentation by the Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society followed by an opportunity to talk to the owl handler and take pictures of the live birds. Registration Required.
