Watercolour Bird Art Prints

You may recognize Shaylena Stenback’s stunning watercolours from our recently published State of Canada’s Birds report.

Offering prints, mugs, water bottles and more, her work would be appreciated by anyone on your list. This holiday season, Shaylena is generously donating 20% of all orders through her Etsy shop.

“Contributing to the State of Birds Canada 2024 was truly an incredible experience. The passion and support from everyone involved made the experience unforgettable, and being part of such an important project was both an honour and a joy. It was important that each bird be as accurately depicted as possible, so each one was sketched, reviewed by the Birds Canada team, revised as necessary, and then painted. Huge shout-out to the amazing photographers that allowed their photos to be used as references – I could not have done it without them!”

MetalBird Art

Made locally on Corten steel, this metal artwork is made to last a lifetime. They have many species to choose from, however our favourite is the Canada Warbler, which we made in partnership with MetalBird, where 30% of proceeds comes back to support our conservation work. Represented in the Birds Canada logo, this at risk species can be found across the country, and is a great reminder of our continued need to come together as we support birds in Canada and beyond.

Anti-collision Bird Stickers

Photo: Feather Friendly

Collisions with windows in residential and commercial buildings kill more than 25 million birds in Canada each year, and the majority of these collisions occur at houses. Feather Friendly makes easy-to-install window stickers to help prevent these collisions, and every purchase made using the code ‘BirdsCanada’ will give back to our work here.
