Second Ontario Atlas makes digital leap
While the second season is underway for the third Breeding Bird Atlas project for Ontario, the province’s second atlas (2001-2005) has hit an important landmark. The entire “Atlas of Breeding Birds of Ontario, 2001-2005” is now available digitally on the Atlas website.

Project WoodlandWatch allows woodlot owners to enter their bird observations and has many advantages for both the woodlot owners and for bird conservation. A new poster series will aid landowners in identifying common forest species.
Tracking Dunlin in the Fraser Estuary
The Fraser River Delta provides critically important habitat for shorebirds, including Dunlin. Birds Canada is tracking the movements of Dunlin to better understand how they use different parts of the Delta and understand the connections among those sites.
