Spring is officially here, bringing with it the sights and sounds of migrating birds and the excitement of garden planning. If you love both gardens and birds, you’ve probably put some thought into how you can attract more birds to your garden.

This month marks the launch of several new Key Biodiversity Areas championed by Birds Canada, stretching from Newfoundland to British Columbia. We highlight three of these sites and some of the important conservation work happening at them.

Following on the Legacy that Doug and the Tarry family helped to establish, we are now entering another phase of rejuvenation as we reimagine the future of our LPBO and Birds Canada facilities. Long Point is our heritage, our home, and with the help of support from families like the Tarry’s, our future.
